Project Overview
The Oritz Jail expansion project is an eight-level housing addition to the existing Ortiz Jail. The project includes 384 hard cell beds, 384 dormitory beds, 30 suicide watch beds, and 26 infirmary beds. The addition was constructed with a pile foundation and poured 11" thick concrete slab columns. The exterior walls are insulated precast concrete and the interior walls are reinforced concrete block.
